BRIEF
With large expansion plans to roll out across the UK, Timpson needed a reliable supplier to develop and design a repeatable retail kiosk model to support their ambitious growth. Ease of install was a key part of the brief, which would see hundreds of kiosks across Tesco and Sainsbury’s supermarkets.

Brand standards – As a well-known retailer, brand consistency and high-quality facilities were key for Timpson to drive footfall and ultimately customer spend
Logistics – Located around the UK, delivery and install had to be thoroughly planned and a tight schedule was essential to ensure timescales were met
To be situated in supermarket carparks, the kiosks needed to be easily installed, without the need for ground works.

The repeatability of our design allowed for a cost-effective method of production, ensuring a greater ROI and cost certainty for Timpson as they accelerated their growth.
Our team worked closely with the client to create an inviting sales environment, which arrived on site fully kitted out. Our bespoke design was developed to eliminate the need for ground works, so the kiosks could be installed quickly and easily on site.
RESULTS
Working closely with Timpson’s team, we created a design and prototype for the new kiosks, which were fitted out in our factory site to ensure they were ready to slot straight into place when they arrived on site. Because of our standardised approach and repeatability, time on site is reduced to a matter of hours, meaning Timpson can be open and trading quickly.
Each kiosk was fitted with specialist equipment including shoe repair counters, key cutting machines and drop off points for dry cleaning. Our long-standing partnership with Timpson has included the opening of their 1000th store, and an award for Timpson Group Supplier of the Year award.
