Strip-out & Subcontractor Scope Coordinator

Location: Brandesburton, East Yorkshire
Reports To: Pre-Delivery and Brandesburton Operations Manager

To support the Brandesburton Ops Manager in respect of fleet for refurbishment to meet project requirements.

Experience, Qualifications & Training:

Good communication skills.
Be numerically astute
Possess Good IT Skills
Good communication skills
Good Planning Skills
Ability to work on own initiative
Modular build knowledge would be beneficial
MEP background
Premier product/ material knowledge
Level 3 or above In Construction/ modular background would be an advantage, however training will be provided to the correct personal

Principle accountabilities:

For relevant projects.

To set up project templates ready for subcontractors scoping.
To form a detailed scope of works for MEP refurbishment of existing fleet
Compose and place subcontract orders required for the relevant projects.
To review and advise sales on initial pricing documents.
To aid design in any cost saving initiatives on projects for second-hand reuse
Updating sub-contractors scopes when checked over at strip out stage
To assist in the early stages of a project on material requirements on units selected
Always actively look to utilise second-hand materials where possible to maximise project margins.
To attend and aid the factory project launches, highlighting of second-hand reuse and amendments required
Assist to ensure all fleet assets are protected, all open apertures etc to be sealed against the weather. (More to alert the relevant person)
Ensure projects remain within budgets including support and promote the company’s Capex process.
To aid with Second-hand refurb process, ensuring any items not intended to be used on the project, is removed correctly and saved for other upcoming projects.
To liaise with the Vaps Refurb team on return and delivery of any items from the factory.
To aid Project Coordinators on std strip out scopes as and when required.
To liaise with strip out, highlight and items that are deemed fit to be saved.
To liaise and deal with any health and safety issues.
